Just another beautiful day
From work, I went spelunking. After waking out of the cave, and up to UVM, Andrew and I proceeded to skate the chicane by U-Heights. We met up with some stoked kids, can't quite remember their names (sorry guys), and I let one use my gloves and board. That's all it takes to get someone to understand why gloves, or any sort of protective equipment, are essential to skill progression. Tom met us at the chicane, and he threw down some crazy drifts at extreme speeds. After the warm up, it was time for a change of pace, so the three of us headed to the White Barn. Tom was, again, nailing the stand up drifts around the hairpin at the bottom of the run. Although being a wonderful day, the traffic on the path was easily manageable. Let's do it again tomorrow!
